Rachel Poli Interview

Image
So here is the last interview that I was in, up to this point. Rachel Poli was very gracious and asked great questions.  I loved the ones about my writing process and routine. I found answering those inquiries to be a good source of reflection. But they are only some of the questions asked. To find the full interview, here it is: Rachel Poli Interview Now that I've done this, I want to take a moment and quickly discuss why my first interview with the Stanwood/Camano News isn't in here. This newspaper is my "local rag" and they surprised both my wife and me by producing the article. What I mean by "surprise" is that neither of us didn't call them to let them know about the book. They just took it upon themselves to do it! And I was humbled! It was a great submission. What I enjoyed about that is they talked about my grandpa who was a sportswriter for the Post  Intelligencer here in Seattle. I guess writing runs in the family!

The Reading Bud Interview

This was an amazing set of questions. The Reading Bud is a fantastic website which supports publishers and authors. They love bringing readers new books for them to check out. They take great pride in what they do. I had a fun time answering them. I loved it. One of my favorites was the inquiry about my five favorite authors.  If you would like to check it out, here is the link: The Reading Bud I hope you have a great day! :) Mark

AwesomeGang Interview

Here is Awesomegang. Their interview was short and sweet but I loved it! In there they had a marketing question which I answered to the best of my ability back then. Suffice to say that my views have changed a little. While I agree with some of what I said, I am now currently learning a way to create a system for getting the word out. This will become different from just simply buying advertising and hoping for the best. It'll incorporate a social element that is smarter than I've ever had before. Which, hopefully, will make me appear more on task and not all over the place. Lol. Anyway, here's the link, in case you're interested: Awesomegang Interview I hope you have the most incredible day! :) Mark

SeriousReading Interview

So here is the interview with Serious Reading. I enjoyed this for the depth I could go with these questions. It gave me the ability to share some more of who I am. Anyway, without any further delay, here's the link... SeriousReading Interview This is not found on my website. (I ran out of room. Lol.) I hope you have an amazing day. :) Mark

IndieView Interview

IndieView posted this interview with me back on November 28, 2016. I like this one for the in-depth questions. This makes it a good first conversation to submit here. A nice introduction, if you will. So without further adieu, here is the interview: IndieView Interview I hope you enjoy! Mark

Welcome!

WELCOME! Hi! And thank you for checking this out. For those that don't know me, I'm an author. I've published my first book on Amazon which is a paranormal mystery.  Dream, Recurring is the first in a series of four books. I don't want to bore you with the details here, so if you want to check out my website: Mark Canniff you'll learn more about me there. I promise. :) Here, I wanted to focus on my "media" engagements. I have interviews I'll share here, to start with. Then when other events appear, I will let you know right away, through this blog. I hope you'll find them interesting, maybe a little entertaining but most of all you should be able to understand how I came to be a writer, it may inspire someone to follow their dreams. Who knows? Maybe you'll be the next J. K. Rowling! Or perhaps Steven Spielberg. That's the main goal is so that, in learning about me, you'll feel the drive to "step into the l
